they’re made and perfect for each other. it’s just fascinating how two strangers gradually became each other’s home. plus, yiran is really is a winner in life. not only has his whole life been smooth sailing (pls ignore the paintings), rich ass and do whatever he loves and yet the cutest, self sacrificing, most beloved loyal dog ke xun plops down right on his doorstep - man is so lucky.

mystery lover? yep, this novel is for you! definitely a must read if you’re itching for a mystery-solving because this is not your typical predictable horror infinite game!
horror lover? sure enough. you’ve come to the right story. this story is written to make you sick to your stomach. gory, psychologically, terrifying arcs.
the plot: not overdone, not utterly long and boring. each arcs is amazing, informative & unique that i want to kowtow the author for their good work - the creativity of the author, the uniqueness of the painters, the insight on human nature, whether cruelty or kindness. everything. it is well-thought out. every arc has a logical ending: it is vivid of how much the author researched deeply based on the conclusion of every paintings.
the couple: yes. HAIL. TOP-NOTCH ROMANCE. mc falls in love first but it’s.. heartwarming to see how our tsun queen mu yiran slowly.. falls for ke xun midway of the story. they’re so smitten for each other. if this ain’t love, i don’t know what love is.
